Community Call: Planning Your OIF National Conference Experience

Leading up to OIF National Conference, the OI Foundation will host Zoom calls for OI community members which will be an overview of the conference. During the first call, OIF staff shared information about OIF National Conference including registration, highlights and special events, travel and hotel planning, financial aid opportunities, and more!

The Rosen Centre Hotel has a large number of ADA accessible rooms available. If you require an ADA room, please contact Jenny at jstup@oif.org. ADA rooms booked through the hotel directly cannot be guaranteed.

Getting There, Parking, and Hotel Shuttle

Rosen Centre Hotel is just 12 minutes from Orlando International Airport (MCO). The hotel does not offer a shuttle from the airport; however, Mears Shuttle can be booked in advance and offers accessible options. Ride Share companies like Lyft and taxis are also readily available from MCO to the hotel.

Lyft & Uber: Both companies generally do not have dedicated wheelchair-accessible vehicles (UberWAV) readily available in Orlando, making service unreliable.

Mears Shuttle: Mears Transportation in Orlando offers ADA-compliant, wheelchair-accessible transportation, including specialized vehicles for airport transfers (MCO) and area resorts. Medical Consultations

Friday, July 24, 2026

Medical Consultation Day offers a unique opportunity for families and adults who have OI to have a face-to-face meeting with a physician who has extensive experience with OI. The program runs from 8:30am until 3:00pm on Friday, July 24. Each attendee may request up to three appointments with the specialists of their choice. Medical Consultation Request Forms will be available in the Spring.

Women's Forum

Thursday, July 23, 2026 | 9am-5pm

The Women’s Health Forum hosts a full-day event featuring presentations on topics related to women’s health and OI. It also provides a space for women with OI to connect and share their experiences.

Note: Registration for the Women’s Health Forum is only open to women with OI age 18 older. This requirement is in place to ensure that attendees have a comfortable space to discuss and disclose topics that relate to them personally as a woman with OI. If you are not a woman with OI (i.e., parent, spouse, friend, etc.) and are interested in learning more about women’s health, there is a women’s health session that will be held on during the National Conference, that can be attended by anyone.

Price: $40 per attendee

Camp Unbreakable Spirit®

Camp Unbreakable Spirit® is the perfect place for your child(ren) with or without OI to meet new friends or reconnect with old pals. Professional childcare specialists are able to accommodate activities for children ages 12 months to 12 years old. Whether they are a toddler or a tween, they'll have a great time spending their days in Camp Unbreakable Spirit®!

Care is provided by ACCENT, a nationally recognized professional childcare company, and sponsored by Ultragenyx. Sign up is available within Conference Registration. *After signing up for Camp Unbreakable Spirit®, you will need to complete the waiver from ACCENT. Click here to complete the waiver.

Unbreakable Spirit® Walk-n-Wheel

Register for the National Unbreakable Spirit® Walk-n-Wheel to personalize your page, form your team and start fundraising! Join fellow OI community members on Friday, July 24th, 2026 to help raise awareness and funds that will enable the OI Foundation to keep the cost of conference registration low and provide scholarships to help families in need attend.

Raise more than $25, and you'll receive an official National Unbreakable Spirit® Walk-n-Wheel t-shirt. Raise more than $100 to receive a sign with your name or your team's name on it. And for every $1,000 you raise, you or someone from your team will receive a complimentary registration for the OIF National Conference!

Kasper Kendall Conference Scholarships

The Kasper Kendall Scholarship program, in memory of OIF Board Members and longtime volunteers Rosemarie Kasper and Jamie Kendall, are intended for people who require financial assistance to attend the OIF National Conference. The 2026 OI Foundation Kasper Kendall National Conference Scholarships covers conference registration and hotel room (3 nights) charges for up to 4 people.

Unbreakable Spirit® Walk-n-Wheel

Sign up to take part in the National Unbreakable Spirit® Walk-n-Wheel and for every $1,000 your team raises, you will receive a FREE full conference registration.

Register as a fundraiser to create your personal page. Once you have created your page, you will receive a discount code to waive your Conference registration fee while you begin your fundraising journey. All funds must be received by July 1, 2026 in order to qualify for the complimentary registration.
