In 2019, 15 members of the OI medical community did something very special. They walked 50 miles over 3 days to raise awareness for OI. And now, they are doing it again! 

On Friday, October 8th a group of OI medical professionals will meet in Washington, DC and travel north through Maryland and Virginia for this year's Medics on the March! Over two days our beloved medics will travel 50 miles and spend and overnight camping in an effort to raise awareness and funds for the OI Foundation.

We cannot express our thanks to these doctors and their families for all that they do for the OI community - whether they are leading new research, heading an OI clinic or walking 50 miles over 2 days, they are exemplifying the Unbreakable Spirit® of the OI community!

Help Your Medic Hit Their Fundraising Goal!

While your favorite medic(s) trek across the vast wilderness that is DC, you can donate items to make their travels easier. You can donate ice-cold water, fresh socks, specialty coffee, pillows, and more when your medic reaches one of the fundraising goals below. The medic with the most donations at the end will be crowned this year’s Mighty Medic!
