The OI Factsheet & Toolkit Chatbox is an AI-powered assistant created by the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation using Anthropic’s Claude platform. Previously available on ChatGPT, the Chatbox has moved to Claude to provide an improved experience for our community. This tool was developed to help individuals living with osteogenesis imperfecta (OI), as well as their families, caregivers, and medical professionals, quickly access accurate, easy-to-understand information. All responses are based exclusively on official OIF resources, including the OI Factsheets, the Adult Health Toolkit, the New Diagnosis Toolkit, and the School-Aged Toolkit.

The Chatbox can answer questions about OI types, diagnosis, treatments, and more. While it is a valuable educational tool, it is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Users are encouraged to consult qualified healthcare providers for personalized care.
