Greetings! As we look back, 2025 was a wonderful year for the OI Foundation. While celebrating our 55th Anniversary, we continued to support new research initiatives and provided programs that stretched our reach internationally, and we have continued to strive to improve the quality of life for individuals living with OI through research, education, awareness, and mutual support.

From large-scale fundraising endeavors that help strengthen the OI Foundation’s relationships with partners across the ocean, like Medics on the March, to resources like our new School-Aged Toolkit – the OIF is certainly busier than ever! If you haven’t already, be sure to check out the School-Aged Toolkit: Information on Caring for Children with OI Between the Ages of 3-18, designed to help families, healthcare providers, school personnel, coaches and other community members support children and students living with osteogenesis imperfecta (OI).

With all these exciting programs and initiatives, it should come as no surprise that the OI Foundation community continues to make up the heart of our organization. We sincerely hope you’ll join us by becoming a member of the OI Foundation for the 2026-2027 membership year. Your help will continue the legacy of families and individuals living with OI determined to find answers. Our continued success is only possible due to your generosity and commitment to our mission – the future of the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation depends on you!

Your OIF membership will help provide medically verified information on OI to medical professionals, parents, caregivers, and individuals living with OI. It will give opportunities for people with OI to connect through our recently updated OIF website, social media sites, the OIF National and Regional Conferences, and support groups. In response to OI community feedback, the OIF has transitioned its support program from Regional Support Groups to the OIF Support Program, which now includes quarterly educational community calls, quarterly affinity support group meetings, state-based contacts, and events.
