Rare Bone Disease Alliance Reception: Thursday, October 8th, 2026

The Rare Bone Disease Alliance invites attendees of the ASBMR annual meeting to a rare bone disease reception scheduled for Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 6pm, following the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research Rare Bone Disease Pre-Meeting.

The goal of the RBDA Rare Bone Disease Reception is to provide opportunities for collaboration and mentorship between researchers and clinicians in all stages of their career and help foster an interest in rare bone disease as a field of study. Attendees will learn about diagnosis and possible treatments for rare bone diseases and the importance of partnering with patient advocacy groups. Our hope is to encourage the development of talent in the rare bone disease scientific and clinical pipeline.

We will also be hosting a Rapid Poster Presentation. To be considered for selection to present your poster, please email your abstract to mbonardi@oif.org. RBDA representatives, patient advocacy organizations, and RBDA physician leaders will be present to discuss the importance of rare bone disease research.

Food and beverages will be provided. We encourage all investigators and clinicians interested in rare bone research to join us!
