Get ready for a summer of fun as the OI Foundation joins the Brittle Bone Society UK for the “Medics on the March” 57-mile journey in Scotland! Representing the OI Foundation will be Dr. Jeanne Franzone from Nemours AI Dupont Hospital, Dr. Reid Sutton from Texas Children’s Hospital and Dr. Maegan Wallace from Phoenix Children’s Hospital. All three doctors participated in this event in 2019 when they walked from West Virginia to Washington, DC in honor of the OI Foundation’s 50th anniversary – and they can’t wait to use their expertise as they take on the Fife Coastal Path in Eastern Scotland this year!

What is Medics on the March:

Medics on the March invites healthcare professionals from around the globe to join together to raise awareness and help raise funds for those living with osteogenesis imperfecta. This year, we’ll be joining physicians from the United Kingdom & Europe on a more than 57-mile hike along Scotland’s Fife Coastal Path in honor of the Brittle Bone Society’s 57th anniversary. We’re walking to spread awareness, improve education, and help fund research and the programs and services of the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation. While this may be a tough journey, we are more committed than ever to helping improve the lives of people with OI.
