Melissa's Bone China Tea

05/07/2020 - 12/31/2020

I am hosting a Bone China Tea event for the OI Foundation and I need your support!

Nearly 75% of the OI Foundation's annual budget is generated from individual donations and a lot of those donations come through events and meetings that are now being cancelled. We hope we can count on your continued support during this difficult time.

I hope you will join me for a cup of calming tea on Thursday, May 7, 2020 for the National Bone China Tea Day. With your participation, we can continue to provide all the wonderful resources, research, and education you have come to count on from the OI Foundation.

50,000 people in the United States are affected by osteogenesis imperfecta (OI), a rare genetic disease that makes bones fragile and easily broken. A person living with OI may experience hundreds of painful fractures over a lifetime. Infants with OI are often born with multiple broken bones. In severe cases of OI, a cough can break an adult’s rib. Each person with OI is unique, with different fracture rates, a varied range of related health issues and his or her own path through life. Yet there is one thing every person living with OI has in common… an Unbreakable Spirit!

You can improve lives! To support the important work of the OI Foundation, simply click on the Make a Gift button on this page.

If you prefer to mail in your donation: Make all checks payable to the OI Foundation. Then, please mail your check to the OI Foundation and specify that the donation is for my Bone China Tea campaign.
