Running the Mason-Dixon Trail to Raise Awareness and Funds for the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation

08/15/2020

Bob will be running the entire 201 miles of the historic Mason-Dixon Trail (MDT), passing through the states of Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware, in honor of those individuals who live with the Brittle Bone disorder, Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI). The OI Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life for people affected by OI through research to find treatments and a cure, education, awareness, and mutual support. Bob’s run will celebrate this mission and help to raise funds for OI Foundation programs directly benefitting individuals with OI.

Bob’s MDT run will take place in mid-August, and he plans to provide updates of his journey by social media, including the OI Foundation website (https://oif.org/). Bob will be attempting a Self-Supported Fastest Known Time (FKT) (https://fastestknowntime.com/) for the MDT and looks forward to the challenge. He is inspired by individuals with OI, including his daughter Natalie, who is a Music Therapist in Minneapolis.

Bob’s family as well as friends of the OI Foundation hope you will support Bob’s MDT run and donate to the OI Foundation by clicking the blue Make a Gift button at the top of this page.

Celebrate the OI Foundation’s 50th Anniversary by supporting Bob in his MDT journey this August!
